Note: This was written in a more visual sense as I plan to record this.
Web advertising is a double edged sword to me. On one side, it's a neccesary evil. On the other, it's about as souless as a brick forged by the Demonic House Building Company.
There's a few different types of advertising, which we shall use in the example of a shop selling goods. This is my reasoning on how certain forms I can stand and others I specifically download a program so I can set fire to them.

The Following is Not News
-
This article in The Sun is in my book not national news. Here's why:
In short, a group in Cornwall is wanting to ban the England flag in Cornwall, and use their own. Now, if there's considerable backing for this it'd be national news-worthy, a potential social and political uprising akin to the minaret ban in Switzerland potentially. The Facebook Group (Facebook Groups themselves are about as credible as Train Timetable) has a measly 55 followers at the time The Sun wrote the article. The following have more followers than this group:

More Operation Gnomeregan... Gnews
NOTE: The site should be faster now, it was almost destroyed by over 300 spam posts in a single article. Lesson learned.
A recent update to the WoW-Europe.com site says that the operation to reclaim Gnomeregan is imminent. Whether that means 3.9 will come sooner than I thought or not, it's got some juicy content. Even better, it proves the Blizz team are on a similar wavelength to me.
All the Lore fluff aside, it includes a few pictures and one particulary interesting poster.

Operation Gnomeregan Music
Yes, i'm behind with this technically. But I did say i'd try and post about the whole of the "Operation Gnomeregan" updates.
Here's some datamined music from the Gnomeregan encounter. It's got a really quirky sound to it, and in the middle just becomes adorable. Quintessential Gnome stuff, really.

[Radio Production] Podcast Piece
We needed to make a brief podcast on a Music Genre, which I did with a little flair. It's called "General Genre" (listen to see why) and it's about Synthpop.

The RP Economy (Or Lack of One)
RP Servers will always act differently to the others. Whether it's in general grammer, or how the Auction House runs, they're made with different mindsets in... well, mind.
Here's a recent example from myself. I bought this Swiftsteel Shoulders pattern on the Auction House for 525 gold. It's a Bind on Equip pattern from the Burning Crusade, and has little to no value in the level 80 scene. Yet, get this...

I Am Compleeeeete
Well, I caved in.
I transferred the Undead Warrior Zimmer to the Alliance, creating Krat Kristokripple. I don't have a thing for Female Gnomes, no you shut up!
While i'm waiting for the upcoming PvP changes, i've decided to go Engineering and kit her out with... well, gnomish stuff. Here we have a Force Reactive Disk, which is expensive to run but incredibly awesome at the same time. Huge thanks to Való, who only recently found the recipe in the Molten Core. It's a rare 'un, so look to him if you'd like one.
