Operation Gnomeregan is GO!
I've mentioned the thing months ago, and there's literally been a blackout of information since. It stagnated the surge of Gnome RP the original announcement made a bit, but it'll be back!

Better yet, here's a video! People say the MP3 above doesn't work, so I made an animated version.

Web Advertising - A Tit-For-Tat Filled Rant
Web advertising is a double edged sword to me. On one side, it's a neccesary evil. On the other, it's about as souless as a brick forged by the Demonic House Building Company.
There's a few different types of advertising, which we shall use in the example of a shop selling goods. This is my reasoning on how certain forms I can stand and others I specifically download a program so I can set fire to them.

The Following is Not News
This article in The Sun is in my book not national news. Here's why:
In short, a group in Cornwall is wanting to ban the England flag in Cornwall, and use their own. Now, if there's considerable backing for this it'd be national news-worthy, a potential social and political uprising akin to the minaret ban in Switzerland potentially. The Facebook Group (Facebook Groups themselves are about as credible as Train Timetable) has a measly 55 followers at the time The Sun wrote the article. The following have more followers than this group:

More Operation Gnomeregan... Gnews
NOTE: The site should be faster now, it was almost destroyed by over 300 spam posts in a single article. Lesson learned.
A recent update to the WoW-Europe.com site says that the operation to reclaim Gnomeregan is imminent. Whether that means 3.9 will come sooner than I thought or not, it's got some juicy content. Even better, it proves the Blizz team are on a similar wavelength to me.
All the Lore fluff aside, it includes a few pictures and one particulary interesting poster.

Operation Gnomeregan Music
Here's some datamined music from the Gnomeregan encounter. It's got a really quirky sound to it, and in the middle just becomes adorable. Quintessential Gnome stuff, really.

The RP Economy (Or Lack of One)
RP Servers will always act differently to the others. Whether it's in general grammer, or how the Auction House runs, they're made with different mindsets in... well, mind.
Here's a recent example from myself. I bought this Swiftsteel Shoulders pattern on the Auction House for 525 gold. It's a Bind on Equip pattern from the Burning Crusade, and has little to no value in the level 80 scene. Yet, get this...

I Am Compleeeeete
Well, I caved in.
I transferred the Undead Warrior Zimmer to the Alliance, creating Krat Kristokripple. I don't have a thing for Female Gnomes, no you shut up!
While i'm waiting for the upcoming PvP changes, i've decided to go Engineering and kit her out with... well, gnomish stuff. Here we have a Force Reactive Disk, which is expensive to run but incredibly awesome at the same time. Huge thanks to Való, who only recently found the recipe in the Molten Core. It's a rare 'un, so look to him if you'd like one.

The Upcoming Vanilla PvP Gear Surge
The upcoming Marks of Honor changes in the current PTR build means more than just easier PvP access to the people of Argent Dawn. It means some neat outfits.
The Vanilla (World of Warcraft before the two expansions) PvP sets were very reminiscent to the armor of Warcraft III. With Alliance RP holed up in the Human city of Stormwind, the Plate sets are very popular for those who RP with a Military background.

Pew Pew
Brief bit of news from the latest PTR build:
Engineering: The Pet Bombling and Lil' Smoky non-combat pets are no longer Bind-on-Pickup.
Something tells me there'll be a small arms race in the coming weeks.
The Gyrocorps And You
Yum, Gnome Guilds. When done right they're just so enjoyable. Which is why I want this to work.
The 1st Gnomeregan Gyrocorps are the first line of the future Gnomeregan Reclamation. Based in Kharanos, they're dedicated to making the process run as smooth as possible, and they need you! send a Plain Letter to Tirrypin if you're interested. It's a Military guild with a Gnome twist (read: about as strict as a Theramore Peace Conference).

What's that? A New Gnome Guild?
Coming soon to an Ironforge near you, a new Gnome Guild!
I used to run a Gnome Guild with a friend of mine called The Gigaflux Guard. I'd link you to a site or something, but their current state is... not what I wanted when I left. The whole reclamation of Gnomeregan has stirred things up in the Gnome world, and I feel the time is right to run another guild to represent them. Equal rights for smaller rights, and all.
Argent Dawn and Me...
Now the site is somewhat legible (unless you use an ancient version of IE) I figure I should actually start posting about what I wanted this site to be.
About, let's say three years ago, I joined the Argent Dawn EU server thanks to my brother. At the time he was already part of the servers Roleplay illuminati, so it was easy to piggy back off his success. Somewhere about a year into my RP-time, I discovered the wonders of Gnomes! Since then, my main has been Moppentoff.

Football - A Diamond-Encrusted Mugs Game
Obviously this is being written for Radio, and kind of needs to be neutral. I forgot about that at first:
...I went to the cinema recently and was subjected to an advert for a generic sports brand of clothing. The ad entailed of numerous people, clearly at their place of work, instead playing with a football than actually being useful to the worlds economy. That group of people probably single-handedly lost Wayne Rooneys daily wage in the space of thirty seconds. Arseholes.
This idea of Football being the one true escapism from the drudges of normal life is pretty tedious. It's a sport, not a ticket to surefire glory and "bitches in the back" or whatever the kids call it. The amount of effort that people put into their obsession with the game can be scary. Football Manager is a strong testament to the lenghts people will go to to make sure their Pixel Perfect dream team dominates the globe with an iron boot.
Ah well, back to the drawing board.
